do you know what i hate the most about live stage setups? Stage monitors that do not work or are not properly setup! Especially on occasions where i line-in straight to the mixer, i am at the mercy of the stage monitors. And around 80% of the time, i can't hear myself! Or when i do hear myself, i can't hear the rest of the band! And what's even worse? If there's a keyboard amp, but it doesn't work!
On the brighter side, i will soon be buying an 18.5in or 19in LCD monitor to replace my 6 year old AOC 15in CRT, which is by now blacking out every 5 minutes or so. My hands are also swollen due to the regular slapping of the monitor to get it to work.

~> i'll be going home to Tacloban on New Year's day! Problem is, my flight is 4am, and i don't have a place to stay to wait it out. It would be too dangerous to leave at exactly 12am, so i have to leave as early as 8pm on new year's eve. I'll be in Tacloban for 5 days
